Operation RoundUp®
Decatur County REMC participates in Operation RoundUp®. The purpose is to accumulate and disburse funds for charitable purposes to individuals, families, and organizations located within our service area. The REMC's service area includes Decatur, Jennings, Ripley, Franklin, Rush and Bartholomew counties. They do not have to be a member of the REMC.

Applicants are only eligible to apply or receive funds once per year. The maximum amount available to any individual or family is $2,500 per year. The maximum amount available to any group or organization is $10,000 per year. Under extenuating circumstances additional funding may be available to individuals, families, groups or organizations if approved by all of the Trustees who are responsible for administering the fund. Generally funds will be provided to meet the needs of applicants which aren't being met through other sources or means.

Funds will not be used for: candidates for political office, political parties or any political purpose; activities or requests that lack solid community support; or payment of utility bills.
