Community Day

October 9

At Decatur County REMC, Concern for Community is more than one of our seven cooperative principles—it’s part of who we are.

On October 9, our employees will take part in Community Day, giving their time and talents to Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp. Together, our team will roll up our sleeves and help with projects that support the camp and the important role it plays in our local community.

As a member-owned cooperative, our commitment extends beyond providing safe, reliable electricity. We live here, work here and raise our families here, too. Community Day gives our employees an opportunity to put our cooperative values into action and make a hands-on difference in the communities we’re proud to serve.

Office Closure
As part of this effort, our office will be closed on October 9 so our employees can dedicate their time and energy to giving back.
Note: We will continue to monitor the system and be available to respond to any outages that may occur.

We look forward to spending Community Day working together, giving back and demonstrating what Concern for Community looks like in action.
